According to the document, the Guardian amiibo started its manufacturing in November of 2016, likely to ensure that there are plenty of these mini-statuettes ready for consumers in March 2017 when Breath of the Wild launches. However, knowing Nintendo of America’s past failures to meet demand with the NES Classic Edition and amiibo before, we should probably avoid getting our hopes up too high.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Guardian Amiibo will be the first amiibo in Nintendo’s line to have moving parts. It was originally revealed during E3 at Nintendo’s Breath of the Wild event.
