“I’ve been grappling with this for some time and I’ve concluded that it’s the ideal opportunity for me to back away from The Voice after season 23,” the 46-year-old nation star wrote in an Instagram post. “This show has transformed myself all around to improve things and it will constantly feel like home to me.”
He proceeded, “It’s been quite a ride over these 12 years of seat turns and I need to thank everybody at ‘The Voice’ from NBC, each maker, the scholars, performers, team and cooking individuals, you are awesome. It takes a ton of work, energy, and grown-up refreshments (Ha!) to pull off a live show two times every week.”
Shelton then, at that point, pondered the connections he developed on the show — and gave a holler to the competitors.
“I’ve made deep rooted bonds with Carson and each and every one my kindred mentors throughout the long term, including my significant other, Gwen Stefani!
