If you missed out, however, you might be interested in this news.

The studio is considering bringing this trio of role-playing greatness to next-generation machines. This according to BioWare Edmonton and Montreal general manager Aaryn Flynn, who responded to a fan on Twitter. The interested Mass Effect follower wanted to know if the Trilogy would ever come to the PS4 and Xbox One. Flynn’s response:

BioWare is working on the new Mass Effect, so perhaps this Trilogy would be the perfect lead-in for the new entry. Furthermore, it’s feasible that if they do bring these games to new systems, fans might be able to enjoy a host of improvements and additions. The Trilogy is bound to include most - if not all - the available downloadable content, but BioWare might go a step further for the PS4 and Xbox One.

Yeah, I’m weird; I prefer Dragon Age

I’ve always been more of a fantasy guy than a sci-fy guy. I’ll take the sword ’n staff setting over the spaceship and laser-gun setting any day of the week and twice on Sunday. That being said, I can easily appreciate the accomplishments of the Mass Effect franchise. You’d have to be blind otherwise.
