In Jessica Radloff’s oral history book The Big Bang Hypothesis: The Conclusive, Inside Story of the Legendary Hit Series, Galecki shared that the season finale where his and Kaley Cuoco’s characters (Leonard and Penny) uncover they’re expecting a child together was as a matter of fact “reflecting” his own life at that point.

The entertainer, 47, noticed that while shooting the finale, he and his then-sweetheart Alaina Meyer were expecting their most memorable child together.
“That was reflecting the thing my life was by then, as well, with my hand on Kaley’s stomach in the last scene of the show,” Galecki partook in Radloff’s book.
“That was something special for my child, [Avery] Orbison, who wasn’t born at this point, to see a little later in his life.”
“I inquired as to whether it was alright assuming I did that, and she grinned at me, knowing precisely why I was doing that, since that is a little salute to him that will be everlastingly,” he added.
Cuoco said recording the last scene of the CBS sitcom was extraordinary for her also.

“To then end it like that, [this time] sitting close to Leonard and him contacting Penny’s stomach… it was the ideal cap,” she shared. “I could never have needed it differently.”
Galecki and Meyer declared in December 2019 that they had invited their most memorable child together, child Avery.
The previous couple originally opened up to the world about their relationship in September 2018 and declared their child on the way in May 2019.
In November 2020, a source let Individuals know that Galecki and Meyer had parted and were co-nurturing their child Avery.
Galecki recently dated Cuoco, his previous Big Bang Hypothesis costar, for a long time prior to severing things in 2010.
